Movement is an essential element of athleticism and overall health. We developed JOINTCAP X4 to support a healthy inflammatory response to exercise and promote joint health.

The four main ingredients in JOINTCAP X4 were chosen because they work synergistically, improving their impact on the body. Taking these ingredients separately wouldn’t have the same impact as taking all four together.

Let’s take a look at what’s inside our joint health support.

MERIVA® Curcumin Phytosome

While well-recognized as a culinary spice, turmeric (Curcuma longa), has a long history of use in Southern Asia for its many beneficial properties. It has been used in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicines for ages.

Curcumin is a naturally occurring compound found in turmeric, and what gives the spice its numerous health benefits. We used Curcumin in JOINTCAP X4 because it is a natural antioxidant shown to help support a healthy inflammatory response in the body by blocking inflammatory cytokines and enzymes. But Curcumin alone is not readily absorbed in the human body, so Meriva® uses a specialized extract combined with phytosome technology to help generate greater Curcumin bioactivity than common turmeric extracts. In fact, Meriva has 29x greater absorption than ordinary Curcumin.

CASPEROME® Boswellia Phytosome

The resin of Boswellia trees (Boswellia serrata) is high in boswellic acids and has long been used in Ayurvedic medicine, one of the world’s oldest holistic medical systems, to support joint health. Boswellic acids have been clinically shown to be a unique natural inhibitor of the pro-inflammatory enzyme called 5-Lipoxygenase.

Casperome® is a purified extract rich in boswellic acids that can help support joint health and recovery in athletes. Casperome is formulated with phytosome technology to optimize absorption so you get the maximum benefit.

Blackcurrant

Blackcurrants are full of health-promoting antioxidants, called anthocyanins, which give blackcurrants their distinctive dark purple color. A diet high in anthocyanins may support a healthy inflammatory response. Black currants have anthocyanin concentrations up to four times greater than other commonly known berries and fruits.

White Willow

Willow bark has been recognized for its benefits by ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Assyrians. The Salicin in willow bark supports the body’s natural inflammatory response to exercise. Salicin has also been found to temporarily relieve the minor discomfort associated with overexertion and everyday stress.
